Before my academic career, I was a musical conductor on Broadway and internationally. That required calm leadership under pressure, careful coordination of complex details, and the ability to bring out each individual’s best performance - the skills I use to guide students through this admissions process: clearly, thoughtfully, and without unnecessary stress.
