Why Worry?

Getting into the right college feels like a lot—but it doesn’t have to overwhelm your life.

When you break the process into smaller steps, it starts to feel way more manageable. You don’t need to have everything figured out right now. You just need a plan that makes sense and someone who knows how to guide you through it.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • You don’t have to be perfect to get into a great college.

  • You do need a smart strategy, strong writing, and a way to show colleges who you really are—without the stress spiraling.

That’s where I come in.

What Can You Expect From Me?

  • A Clear Plan - No more, "I don't even know where to start."

  • Effective Time Management - to keep deadlines from sneaking up on you.

  • Stronger Writing that Sounds Like You - not a template.

  • A Supportive Mentor - who listens, understands, and encourages.

  • Confidence - greater confidence in interviews, essays, and decision-making.

  • Pride - in work that genuinely feels like your very best.

  • A Reduction in Stress - and most importanly, you get to enjoy the journey.

This process does not just prepare you for college - it prepares you for life!

You shouldn't have to do this alone.

Student's FAQ

Q. I don't know who I'm supposed to be or what to major in. Is this a problem?

You are not supposed to have everything figured out at 16 or 17.  The goal is not to invent some version of yourself that you think they want; it's to understand and explain who you already are.

Q. What if I mess something up and ruin my chances?

You won't.   Having a clear plan helps avoid making mistakes and from spiraling out of control over small things.

Q. What if I'm not good enough?

This is the most common worry. Colleges aren’t looking for “perfect” students; they’re looking for real people who will do well and fit in. Part of this process is learning how to recognize and explain your strengths. You don’t have to be extraordinary—you just have to be you, clearly and honestly.

Q. I don't know what to write about - now what?

That's normal.  Good essays come from guided discovery, not sudden inspiration.

Q. Will you write my essay for me?

No, but I will coach you through a process that makes your writing clearer, stronger, and genuinely yours.

Q. What if I disappoint my parents?

So many students worry about this. Your goals should align with your parents’ expectations. Remember, you’re not doing this alone, or for someone else; you're doing it together.

Q. I don't even know where to start.  Am I already behind?

You’re not behind. Most students feel this way. Once you break the process into steps, it becomes manageable. You only need to focus on what comes next, not everything at once.

Q. What if I don't get into my top school?

That hurts, but it's not the end.  Most students end up thriving at schools they didn't necessarily expect.
